Local Delivery Policy
Same-day local delivery
We accept local delivery orders every day until 5:00 PM. Orders placed by 5:00 PM are eligible for same-day local delivery.
If your order is placed before 5:00 PM and qualifies for local delivery, you can expect your order to arrive by 9:00 PM the same day.
Orders placed after 5:00 PM are automatically scheduled for local delivery on the next day.
Local delivery areas
Local delivery is available exclusively to postal codes in:
- Kitchener
- Waterloo
- Cambridge
If your shipping address is in one of these cities and you order before 5:00 PM, your order will be scheduled for same-day local delivery (delivered by 9:00 PM).
Any order with a shipping address outside Kitchener, Waterloo, or Cambridge postal codes will not qualify for local delivery and will be shipped via Canada Post instead.
At checkout, enter your full shipping address and postal code. If it is within Kitchener, Waterloo, or Cambridge, you will see the Local Delivery option; otherwise, only Shipping options (via Canada Post) will be available.
Choosing local delivery vs shipping
Yes. If your address is eligible for local delivery, you must actively select the Local Delivery option at checkout. If you do not select Local Delivery, your order will be processed as Shipping.
Orders that fall under Shipping are sent via Canada Post and will be charged a $14.99 shipping fee if your order total is below $79.99.
If you are in an eligible local delivery area but complete checkout without choosing Local Delivery, your order will be treated as a Shipping order and standard rates will apply.
In this situation, you have two options: you may request a cancellation of the original order (before it is processed) and place a new order with Local Delivery selected, or, if the order has already been delivered and payment has been settled, you can contact our support team to request a review. Where applicable, a partial refund of the shipping fee may be issued.
ID verification & delivery attempts
Yes. Customers placing an order for the first time will be required to present valid government-issued photo identification at the time of delivery. This is to verify that the order is being received by the correct person and to help prevent fraudulent activity.
If the ID check cannot be successfully completed (for example, if the name does not match the order or valid ID cannot be provided), the order will be cancelled on the spot and cannot be delivered.
In this case, 50% of the order total will be deducted as a restocking fee, and any delivery fee that has already been paid will not be refunded.
Yes. If our delivery partner is unable to complete the delivery due to reasons beyond their control (for example, no one is available to receive the order, the buzzer or phone number is unreachable, or access instructions are incomplete), you may be charged for each failed delivery attempt.
Any such charges will be communicated clearly by our support team, and they will be based on the additional time and costs incurred in attempting the delivery again.
To ensure a smooth delivery experience, please provide clear and accurate information at checkout, including:
- A valid mobile phone number that can receive calls and text messages during the delivery window
- Any buzzer number, building access code, or concierge details required to enter your building
- Specific delivery instructions (for example, “Use side entrance,” “Leave with concierge,” or “Call upon arrival”)
Please also ensure that someone is available at the delivery address during the expected delivery time to present ID (if required) and accept the order.
